The schedule for the health examination of the candidates initially recommended for the post of Police Cadet Sub-Inspector (SI Unarmed) has been published. According to the published schedule, the examination has started from Monday (May 12). This information was given in a notification signed by Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Afrida Rubai on May 8 (Thursday). 599 candidates are participating in the 10-day examination.
The police notification said that the examination will be held at the Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh in the capital from 7 am every day. To participate in the examination, candidates will have to go to the official website of the police and fill out the medical history form using their user ID and password. They will have to come on an empty stomach with 2 copies of the form, including the candidate’s signature.
The results of the final (written and psychological and intelligence and verbal) examination of the recruitment examination for the post of SI were published on April 27. In this, 566 people have been recommended on merit, 30 on freedom fighter quota, 2 on minority ethnic groups and 1 on physically disabled quota. These candidates who pass will take part in the health examination at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital.
Earlier, this recruitment notice for the post of Sub-Inspector of Bangladesh Police was published in October 2024. Then the application process started from October 5. The application process ended on October 20. Candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and computer skills were able to apply for this recruitment.
After the application process, the written and psychological tests for the post of Sub-Inspector were held on November 22 and 23 last year. The candidates took part in the 100-mark English and Bengali essay and composition written tests. In addition, the candidates took part in the 100-mark general knowledge and mathematics written tests and the 50-mark psychology test.
